3rd annual Koh Samui Open Beach Volleyball Tournament Sponsored by Hooters Asia and Hard Rock Cafe

          3rd annual Koh Samui Open Beach Volleyball Tournament, helded on 15th – 17th February 2019 on the tropical island of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand. According to many players, spectators and sponsors who attended, the event was hugely successful. 
          Hosted by The Beach Bar Samui and the Koh Samui Beach Volleyball Club, Sponsored by Hooters Asia and Hard Rock Cafe, the event took place on beautiful Chaweng Noi beach and the participants has been set on the rank as 32 highly experienced and talented men & women teams from around the globe, as well as top teams across Thailand.
          The winner of the Men's tournament was awarded to Andrew Freeman and Dima Nizovcev, the team from Russia. This is the first year to combine both Men & Women's teams, the Women's Champion Team was awarded to Yupa Phukrongploy of Thailand and Elena Ponomareva of Russia as well as the male team.
"          The cheering crowd and the players enjoyed an extremely high level of play during the 3-day event, raising awareness of this highly popular annual Southeast Asia beach volleyball event and reflecting the global interest of Beach Volleyball", reported by organiser & event director, Cord Biggs.
          The local resident and an avid player who founded the group and daily open play at Beach Bar Samui announced: "The fourth annual open beach volleyball tournament is in the works for the weekend of 21-23 February 2020", noting next year's event promises to be an even bigger and more exciting international beach volleyball event.
          The annual beach volleyball tournament was possible with the support of Main Sponsors Hooters & Hard Rock Cafe of Destination Eats, supporting the host; The Beach Bar Samui and the Koh Samui Beach Volleyball Club, along with Island Event Supporters – Scandic Grill and Bar, AIS, SW Law Group, Surat Baan Suay, Trend Fashion, Federico's Restaurant, SuperPro Samui, K-Club Samui 69 Slam, Chaweng i Pool Villa and Home Mart Samui.
