Virgin Active, the world's leading health and fitness club operator, introduces to the people of Thailand a new fitness and multi-sports club experience with the launch of its eighth club in Thailand, Virgin Active 101, its largest club in both Thailand and South East Asia.

          Located in the prime Bangkok district of Sukhumvit Road, the club occupies more than two floors in 101 The Third Place, creating a workout experience with a total floorspace of 7,000 square metres to deliver to both members and non-members alike nine distinct workout studios and zones that include dedicated studios for yoga, Pilates, boxing, functional training and cycling, along with an innovative outdoor arena that includes a multipurpose court with LED lighting in its flooring and two outdoor swimming pools for adults and children. Virgin Active 101 is equipped with the finest workout programs, the most modern equipment, and the best professional trainers.

          Virgin Active 101 offers a truly luxurious fitness experience with innovations like The Playground, an innovative outdoor multi-sport and activities space offering team and individual sports courts, comprising of facilities such as the Active Arena for functional and strength training, and the adaptive Multi Court that uses the LED lighting in its flooring to change the court's layout at the touch of a button to cater for different sports like basketball, badminton and volleyball. This is the first multipurpose court of its kind in Thailand. In addition, there are two outdoor pools for adults and children offering fantastic panoramic views of Bangkok, and even a hydrotherapy spa pool for members to soak themselves in after a tough workout.

Additionally, members at Virgin Active 101 can enjoy having over 100 group exercise classes to choose from each work, including the tremendously popular workouts from Les Mills such as BodyCombat^TM, BodyPump^TM, RPM^TM, Sprint^TM, and Sh'bam^TM, and many other highly engaging and interactive workouts. The opening of Virgin Active 101 is part of Virgin Active's commitment to have 20 clubs in Thailand by 2022, with a mission to inspire Thais to enjoy working out in a world-class and luxurious fitness club with the latest cutting-edge equipment and a huge variety of workout classes to cater the people's preferences.
