TMB named winner of “Green Bond Pioneer Awards”

           TMB Bank recently won the "Green Bond Pioneer Awards" from the 4th Green Bond Pioneer Awards which was held in conjunction with the 2019 Climate Bonds Conference in London. TMB is committed to achieving sustainable growth and has its Sustainability Framework set as an operational guidance. The Awards recognized TMB for playing a key role in the new countries taking green bonds global. In June 2018, TMB, with the collaboration of IFC – a member of the World Bank Group – became the first commercial bank in Thailand that issued green bond to raise fund to finance climate-friendly projects by the private sector. IFC was the sole investor of the USD60 million green bond.
