It Is Lights Out at the Moevenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket for Earth Hour 2019

          The 5-star Moevenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket joins millions around the world in celebrating 'Earth Hour' on March 30, 2019 from 8.30 pm – 9.30 pm, to raise awareness of climate change.
          Organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), this annual environmental awareness event encourages individuals, communities and businesses across the globe to switch off non-essential electric lights and other electrical appliances for an hour.
          Moevenpick Resort & Spa Karon Beach Phuket will participate in the green movement with a host of activities throughout the resort which includes turning off non-essential lighting, using of candlelight in specific areas such as restaurants and bars and lighting the candles in the symbolic 60+ in the resort's grounds.
          Guests are also invited to gather together at the beachfront restaurant & bar MINT, to indulge in delectable bites and drinks by candlelight, as they are serenaded by live acoustic music. The creative F&B Team will also be offering 'Earth Hour' shot priced at THB 60 net. Furthermore, environmental films will be shown at the resort's Kinnaree Bar to further educate guests about global warming and its destructive effects.
          Taking part in Earth Hour is one of many CSR-related initiatives the resort is involved with.
