Samsung Redesigns 'Samsung Career Discovery’ Web App Enhancing Students’ Experience in Career Counselling
Samsung has taken its corporate citizenship innovation, called the 'Samsung Career Discovery’, to the next level by redesigning its web application to make it easier and more useful for Thai youths, parents and teachers to explore and develop career and education plans.
Thai Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. renovated the web application, Samsung Career Discovery with a sleek and smart modern design, now equipped with user-friendly functions and better navigation for computers, tablets and smartphones.
- Login Mode – The web application now supports user logins through their Facebook accounts and a new Guest Mode.
- Content Sorting and Search – The new Video Gallery makes 'Career Discovery’ easier by suggesting interesting topics by simply typing keywords and careers into the search bar or using Tags. Through the Playlist function, students can discover new and interesting career options. Moreover, content is sorted into career streams such as Sci-Math, Language-Arts, Business and more, and is shareable across users’ social media platforms.
- The new UX/UI design – The web application is now equipped with engaging high-quality effects and a sleek dark mode that is popular with young users.
Samsung Career Discovery is part of Samsung’s corporate citizenship programs in education. The web application was launched in 2016 and welcomed more than 1.4 million users throughout Thailand. The web application was registered as a standardized tool recommended by the Ministry of Education for guiding high school students, and as part of the Teachers’ Training Program arranged by the Teacher Professional Development Institute (TPDI).
