SCB Julius Baer, a strategic wealth management joint venture between Siam Commercial Bank and Julius Baer, has appointed Joseph Caceres as Managing Director, Head of Investment Advisory and Solutions.
Bangkok 4 November 2020 – SCB Julius Baer, a strategic wealth management joint venture between Siam Commercial Bank, the first Thai Bank, and Julius Baer, the leading Swiss wealth management group, has appointed Joseph Caceres as Head of Investment Advisory and Solutions with effect from September 2020. Mr. Caceres will be responsible for the growth, development, and strategy of SCB Julius Baer’s best-in-class quality investment solutions and product offerings.

Mr. Caceres has nearly two decades of work experience in finance, banking, and international investment management, in which sixteen years were spent in Asia. Prior to joining SCB Julius Baer, he held various senior leadership positions in investment advisory and solutions. He was recently its Head of Managed Investment Solutions and Alternative Investments South East Asia with 13 years of experience with an international financial institution, responsible for investment mandates and alternative investments spanning hedge funds, private equity, private credit and real estate for institutional, HNW and UHNW clients, across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Georgetown University in Washington DC.
