As part of the 25th anniversary celebration of Prudential's business operations in Thailand, Prudential Life Assurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited ("Prudential Thailand") donated 100 bicycles to schools in Samutprakarn under the administration of the Primary Educational Service Area Office Samutprakarn 1.
In line with its "WE DO" brand commitment, Prudential Thailand is committed to serving its customers and protecting the health and wellbeing of the Thai people. The donation, led by Mr. Robin Spencer, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Thailand, was a testament to the company's contribution back to the society through supporting the students from the outskirts of Bangkok on their daily commute and helping them live healthier lives. The bicycles were decorated by Prudential Thailand's employees as an encouragement for the students on pursuing their education.
The donation was received by Mrs. Pawaree Wongwarapat, Director of Promotion of Educational Provision Group, who represented the Primary Educational Service Area Office Samutprakarn 1 along with school executives.
In addition to its long-term advocacy of education for Thai students, Prudential Thailand is planning to invest more in social developments focusing on education, health and well-being, disaster/risk reduction and preparedness and ageing society to meet the needs of various segments of the communities in Thailand.
