KTC-UNIONPAY implements 3-DSecure Product to enhance convenience and security for online payment

"KTC", or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited partners with UnionPay International in bringing 3-D Secure product (3DS), the authentication technology that enables a convenient, fast, and secure online payment experience. At the same time, e-commerce merchants will receive the transaction verification via EMV 3DS system, which reduces the order termination rate while payment is in process, making online transaction more efficient. As KTC is the first UnionPay issuer in Southeast Asia to launch the technology, up to THB3,000 of credit cash back will be granted to cardholders who spend via any of the KTC UNIONPAY Card at the participating online merchant partners (limited to 1 rights/card/day), and limited to the maximum redemption of THB3,000/card for all partners throughout the period, from September 1 - November 30, 2021.
