Panasonic announces merger of three companies under Panasonic Solutions (Thailand)

Mr. Hidekazu Ito, CEO of Panasonic Group in Thailand, said that following the announcement of Panasonic Corporation in Japan on the global business transition to a holding company system aiming at strengthening its management, ensuring business growth, and overcoming low-profit structure. As a result, the transition has led to changes in its operating companies in Thailand.

"The Panasonic Group in Thailand made an adjustment to its affiliates to comply with the global operating direction and meet market challenges and business opportunities amid the rapid changes in the surrounding business environment. Following the transition, Panasonic Life Solutions Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (PLSSTH), has renamed itself Panasonic Solutions (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (PSTH) since January 4, 2022. Also, two affiliates, namely Panasonic Management (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (PMT) - the country headquarter, and Panasonic Siew Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd. - a distributor of System, Consumer AV, and Lighting products, will be merged and operated under the PSTH umbrella, effective from April 1, 2022, onwards."

Meanwhile, other affiliates will continue their operations under the Panasonic Group in Thailand, propelling businesses towards achieving a single goal under the 'One Panasonic' principle.

"The company remains committed to operating its business in Thailand in an effort to produce, distribute, and deliver high-quality products and services to Thai consumers, as Thailand is another country Panasonic is proud to call home," said Mr. Ito.
