Held at the Royal Police Cadet Academy, the ICT Talent MoU was signed by Pol. Lt. Gen. Zenith Samransamruadkit, Commissioner of the Royal Police Cadet Academy, and Mr. Kevin Cheng, President of Enterprise Business Group, Huawei Thailand, in the presence of Pol. Maj. Gen. Patpawat Suksang Commander of Education Service Center, Royal Police Cadet Academy, Mr. Tiger Chenzhe, Vice President of Enterprise Business Group, Huawei Thailand, and other executives from Huawei Thailand and the Academy.
Under a two-year partnership, both parties will jointly exchange and enhance knowledge, experience and information in talent development, including organizing training and workshops to develop their knowledge about information and communication technology; and supporting the police officer work to keep pace with the advancement of today's technology.
During the signing ceremony, Pol. Lt. Gen. Zenith Samransamruadkit said, "Nowadays, information and communication technology has developed rapidly and offenders are more likely to use technology as a tool to commit crimes, which greatly affects the safety of people's lives and properties. This collaboration with Huawei is therefore an important milestone for the Royal Police Cadet Academy to have the ability to use digital technology and to be a professional police officer who works proactively for the peace of the people according to the vision of the Commissioner of Royal Thai Police."
On behalf of Huawei Thailand, I would like to thank the Royal Police Cadet Academy for trusting Huawei to be a part of the ICT talent development. The signing of this MoU clearly demonstrates the academic's vision to transform itself in a new digital era, positioning technology as a mainstay for developing long-term teaching and learning models," said Mr. Kevin Cheng, President of Huawei Enterprise Business Group, Thailand. "Through this new partnership, Huawei will support Royal Police Cadet Academy with the latest innovations in ICT, encouraging its teachers and students alike to successfully pursue Huawei certification. This, in turn, will surely benefit the wider community, equipping the country with top talents, to better take the opportunities and tackle the challenges of fresh ICT developments," he added.
