Bridgestone Wins Two Awards, "2022 Regional Outstanding Quality Performance" and "2022 Outstanding Performance for Early Achievement of 2025 CO2 Reduction Target" at "2023 TDEM Annual Supplier Conference"
Bridgestone received two prestigious awards from Toyota Daihatsu Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (TDEM) at the "2023 TDEM Annual Supplier Conference". The first award, "2022 Regional Supplier Outstanding Performance in Quality Performance" for three consecutive years, was handed to Bridgestone Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (BSCAP), a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, a global leader in tires and rubber building on its expertise to provide solutions for safe and sustainable mobility. The award showcased a testament to BSCAP's commitment to supporting TDEM's business operations, including manufacturing, sales, and service across ASEAN. In addition, the second award, "2022 Outstanding Performance Supplier for Early Achievement of 2025 Target in Environment (CO2 Reduction)" was handed to Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd. (TBSC). The award was a proof of TBSC's commitment to implement environmental activities with TDEM to reduce CO2 emissions towards carbon neutrality from upstream to downstream across the entire value chain and achieving TDEM's CO2 reduction 25% target set by the year 2025*2 up to 27.68% in advance by the year 2022*1. The awards recognize Bridgestone's efforts to deliver co-creation of value and provide innovative solutions for sustainable growth with TDEM, aligned with "Extension", "Efficiency", and "Energy" described in a corporate commitment, the "Bridgestone E8 Commitment".

The "2023 TDEM Annual Supplier Conference" was organized by Toyota Daihatsu Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to recognize its suppliers in the country and across ASEAN. The awards were presented to the suppliers based on their performances in various aspects such as Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery and Cost. As Bridgestone's representatives, Mr. Keiji Chuma, Managing Director of Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd. received the award, "2022 Regional Supplier Outstanding Performance in Quality Performance" from Mr. Noriaki Yamashita, President of Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd., and Mr. Shigeho Kumano, OE Business Director of Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd., received the award, "2022 Outstanding Performance Supplier for Early Achievement of 2025 Target in Environment (CO2 Reduction)" from Mr. Yoshiyuki Takai, Executive Vice President of Toyota Daihatsu Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
