PTTEP continues "PTTEP Finding Next Explorer 2023" to inspire young generation of petroleum explorers
PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) organized "PTTEP Finding Next Explorer 2023" Project (PTTEP FINEX 2023) aimed to inspire the young generation on career opportunity and build professionals in petroleum exploration and production industry, supporting Thailand's energy security in the future. This year, 150 students studying science and mathematics program in Grade 10-11 from all over the country were selected to join the activity in Suphan Buri province, where they were provided the great opportunity to learn petroleum exploration and production process from PTTEP's experts and professionals in geology, geophysics and petroleum engineering.
The young participants this year have enjoyed learning about geoscience and petroleum exploration process, including the use of basic geoscience tools and geological maps, the study of faults and types of faults, and petroleum production process by visiting U-Thong oil field, PTTEP 1 project operated by PTTEP.
