National ITMX Company Limited or NITMX, the developer and provider of Thailand's interbank payment and transfer systems, which also connects payment systems internationally, as designated to be the Interbank Transaction Management and Exchange (ITMX) of Thailand, is stepping into a new era of digital financial innovation. NITMX has launched the "Hack to the Max: Digital Infrastructure" project, Hack beyond limits toward the financial system of the future. A national-level Hackathon that aims to spark creativity and innovation in Thailand's Fintech industry. Applications are open from now until September 27, 2024, targeting young individuals with an interest in digital financial innovations to be part of developing Thailand's digital financial infrastructure, bringing it to the global stage.
Mr. Chatchai Dusadenoad, Managing Director of National ITMX, stated, "The 'Hack to the Max: Digital Infrastructure' project is an important step that we are proud to present. We believe that this innovation in digital finance will not only elevate Thailand's financial system but also help create a sustainable and advanced future on the global stage. We are ready to support all ideas and provide opportunities for young people to showcase their talents and contribute to creating significant changes together."
"The 'Hack to the Max: Digital Infrastructure' project is a key opportunity for developers across the country to come together to design and create financial technologies that are not only cutting-edge but also address the needs of society in the future. We are committed to creating opportunities for Thai people to step into the rapidly evolving and sustainable digital era."
For the "Hack to the Max: Digital Infrastructure" project, Hack beyond limits toward the financial system of the future aims to develop innovations that will modernize Thailand's digital financial system to meet international standards. The event will be supported by partners from the technology sector, banks, finance, startups, and Fin-Tech experts who will provide mentorship. Applicants must be between 18-25 years old and form teams of 2-5 people. Participants must submit innovative ideas in one of three main categories: Innovative Payment Solutions: Developing new payment systems, Sustainable Payment Solutions: Creating sustainable and eco-friendly payment systems or Data Solutions for the Financial Industry: Proposing data-driven innovations to improve financial transactions.
The selection committee will choose 15 finalist teams to participate in the Hackathon, which will be held on October 26-27, 2024. The selected teams will have the opportunity to develop their ideas into prototypes under the guidance of national experts. This competition provides an excellent opportunity for participants to gain knowledge and real-world experience in developing modern financial technology solutions. It also offers a great chance for growth in the digital finance and technology industries.
The winning team will receive a special opportunity to participate in the Singapore Fintech Festival, which will be held on November 6-8, 2024, in Singapore.
