Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited was recognized among Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders 2024 by Financial Times and Statista, becoming the first and only Thai company in the energy and utilities sector to be assessed and included in the ranking. This recognition reinforces Bangchak's tangible achievements in reducing greenhouse gas emissions towards becoming a low-carbon organization.

Bangchak was among seven Thai companies included in the Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders list, comprising 350 companies in the Asia-Pacific that have demonstrated outstanding climate action commitments. These include reducing greenhouse gas emissions intensity (scopes 1 and 2) from 2017 to 2022, achieving an absolute decrease in core emissions, and committing to greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets.

The Asia-Pacific Climate Leaders 2024 report was published by the Financial Times, the world's leading news organization, in collaboration with Statista, a global research company specializing in market and consumer data.
