Bangchak Sriracha Refinery Welcomes Media to Showcase 2024 Achievements

BSRC Management team led by Mr. Bundit Hansapaiboon, Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Anuwat Rungruangrattanagul, Senior Executive Vice President, Refinery & Operation, Mr. Warakorn Kosolpisitkul, Senior Executive Vice President, Marketing Business, and Mrs. Matana Sutatham, Chief Finance Officer, warmly welcomed the media. They shared essential insights on the company's refining business, marketing business, financials, and sustainability efforts. And these are some BSRC's notable achievements over the past year.

• BSRC has successfully leveraged the synergy with Bangchak Group to enhance operational efficiency across multiple areas, including production optimization, cost saving, and improvement of distribution network. Over 9 months of this year, it captured the synergy realization of 4,400 million Baht.
• In 2Q 2024, BSRC set a new quarterly record with a refining capacity of 154,200 barrels per day, the highest in company's history.
• Bangchak Sriracha Refinery achieved 4 ISO certifications in a single year, demonstrating its adherence to global standards. 4 ISO certifications in 2024 consist of:
  • ISO 14001: 2015 - Environmental Management System
  • ISO 45001: 2018 - Occupational Health and Safety Management System
  • ISO 50001: 2018 - Energy Management System
  • ISO 27001: 2022 - Information Security Management System
• Unwavering Commitment to Safety: Bangchak Sriracha Refinery currently has a record of no reportable oil spills for over 16 years. This year, Bangchak Sriracha Refinery was also recognized with honorable safety awards such as:
  • Silver level, the business that has achieved the occupational safety health and working condition management in 2024, from Thailand Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Public Organization)
  • 2024 Excellent Practices Establishment on Occupational Safety and Health (national level) as the 1st year of achievement, from Labour Ministry
  • 2024 Excellent Practices Establishment on Labour Relations and Welfare (national level) as the 1st year of achievement, from Labour Ministry
• BSRC moves forward to rebrand service stations as Bangchak, which is currently 95% completed and expects to be completely done by 2024. It also introduced premium products such as "Hi-Premium 97", "Hi-Premium Diesel S" and Furio lubricant. It has added various shops in the service stations to meet customer needs and renovated the restrooms to be more convenient and clean.
  • Two service stations received the "Best Toilet of the Year" and "Outstanding Toilet with Standard" awards from Bangkok Metropolitan Administration in 2024. Additionally, two more stations were honored with provincial level awards of "Excellent Toilet" and "Clean Toilet" in Nakhon Sawan and Samut Songkhram respectively.
• In July 2024, BSRC successfully issued and sold its first debentures, raising 4 billion Baht, more than double the initial target due to strong interest from institutional investors.
  • TRIS Rating upgraded BSRC's credit from "A" to "A+" reinforcing the company's strengthened position within Bangchak Group. BSRC also achieved a 5-star "Excellent" rating for the first time in 2024 Thai Corporate Governance Report (CGR).
  • BSRC announced the ambitious sustainability goals, including achieving Carbon Neutrality by 2036 and GHG Net Zero by 2050.
  • The company continues to actively engage with local communities through community development, environmental conservation, educational support, and innovation-driven initiatives for sustainable development.

The Press Visit "BSRC: A New Horizon" marked the first official media visit to Bangchak Sriracha Refinery since it joined Bangchak Group in 2023.
