SET continues New Breed Capital Market Financial Professionals program to cultivate next-generation talents

This year, the New Breed Capital Market Financial Professionals program attracted 2,909 applicants from 69 universities nationwide. Through a rigorous selection process, 253 participants were awarded scholarships for the AISA examination, with 162 of them advancing to the Exclusive Financial Career Camp, an intensive learning program which blends training sessions, workshops and company visits.

"Over five years, we have trained 13,217 next-generation talents through this program. Built upon a multi-partner approach, the initiative leverages each partner organization's strengths to develop a quality workforce that will drive the Thai capital market and Thailand's sustainable economic growth, an aspiration that embodies the "Make it 'Work' for Every Future" concept commemorating SET's 50th anniversary milestone," said Asadej.

The New Breed Capital Market Financial Professionals program is collaboratively operated by SET, the Association of Securities Companies, the Thai Listed Companies Association, Lakeshore Capital Partners Co., Ltd., Singha Ventures, Storage Asia pcl, Osotspa pcl, MEB Corporation pcl, and PacRim Education Co., Ltd. This year's Exclusive Financial Career Camp features three elective tracks: 1) Financial Professionals@Financial Institutions, 2) Financial Professionals@Listed Companies, and 3) Life Skills & Career Readiness. The first two tracks provide participants with opportunities to gain real-world experience from industry professionals, showcase their potential through a financial case study competition, and strengthen skills and capabilities that meet today's capital market demands. The third track represents a new learning pathway, focusing on essential soft skill development through the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens course and the Career Readiness course to equip participants with life skills, enabling them to systematically understand themselves and pave their way toward future success in financial careers.
