"The Ministry of Culture is committed to promoting the silk industry across all dimensions from enhancing the skills of local weavers and supporting innovative designs, to providing international platforms for emerging designers," This Celebration of Silk connects Thai weavers and designers to global markets and strengthens cultural diplomacy through collaborations with diplomats from 88 countries. It embodies Thai silk's potential as a cultural medium that fosters global understanding, pride in local identity, and sustainable economic growth through soft power.

The Celebration of Silk is organized through the collaboration of the Ministry of Culture, the Thai Silk and Thai Culture Promotion Association, the Ministry of Education, the Office of the Vocational Education Commission, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, the National Research Council of Thailand, the Public Relations Department, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
