Orbix CUSTODIAN Enhances Key Management Security with IBM Hardware Security Module (HSM) Technology

Ken Svensson, Managing Director of Orbix CUSTODIAN, stated that the company is the first licensed digital asset custodial wallet provider in Thailand, granted by the Ministry of Finance and regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The company commenced full operations on March 11, 2025, with a strategic focus on three core pillars: secure cryptographic key management; responsiveness to market demands under all conditions; and the capability to support a wide range of digital assets. These initiatives aim to support the stable and long-term development of digital asset business operators.

To strengthen trust in the company's product strategy, Orbix CUSTODIAN has adopted IBM's (NYSE: IBM) Hardware Security Module (HSM) technology, certified to FIPS 140-2 Level 4—the highest level of certification for hardware used in securing cryptographic keys under the FIPS 140-2 standard. The implementation leverages a cloud-based infrastructure designed to provide flexibility and scalability in response to client growth and dynamic market requirements. Combined with enterprise-grade security for key management, this approach is intended to help ensure confidence in digital asset operations.
