SET appoints Soravis Krairiksh as Senior Executive Vice President (Chief Markets Officer)

SET President Asadej Kongsiri said that the SET Board of Governors, at its meeting on May 21, 2025, resolved to appoint Soravis as Senior Executive Vice President (Chief Markets Officer) in charge of the Issuer & Listing Division and the Market Division. SET is confident that Soravis will be instrumental in proactively advancing the exchange's business operations to keep pace with evolving market dynamics. He will drive initiatives across both supply and demand sides to ensure cohesive and mutually supportive operations, while facilitating a seamless leadership transition as a senior executive in the Market Division approaches retirement in 2025. His appointment will take effect on August 1, 2025.

Soravis brings over 29 years of extensive experience in finance, investment banking, and capital markets to his new role. His distinguished career includes positions at prestigious institutions such as the Bank of Thailand, Lehman Brothers, and Bangkok Bank pcl. Prior to joining SET, he served as Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking Department, Bualuang Securities pcl. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the London School of Economics & Political Science, United Kingdom and a Master's degree in Finance from London Business School, United Kingdom (under the prestigious British Chevening Scholarship).
