Dr. Bowornsak Wanichkul, Vice President, Government Relations & Sustainability of Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited (BSRC), represented the company in providing sponsorship for the knowledge-enhancing exhibition "Future City" inside the Space Inspirium. This innovation park is operated by the Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (Public Organization) or GISTDA, located in Sriracha, Chonburi. The sponsorship was officially received by Dr. Siriluk Prukpitikul, Deputy Executive Director of GISTDA on May 21, 2025.
The space innovation park, Space Inspirium, is the first and only space-themed learning center in Thailand. It features various exhibition zones and activities that utilize virtual reality (VR) and simulation technologies, allowing visitors to gain hands-on experience in space exploration and satellite applications across sectors such as agriculture, natural resource management, and environmental conservation.
The "Future City" exhibition zone, supported by BSRC, is a virtual showcase that invites children and youth to design their own vehicles and future cities. It highlights how everyone can take part in making our cities more livable. This initiative helps spark creativity and inspires young people to play a role in shaping the cities of tomorrow, leading to sustainable growth hand-in-hand with BSRC.
In addition, the Space Inspirium offers several other learning zones that host activities aimed at developing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) skills. These activities foster interest and enhance all four areas of expertise among Thai youth, serving as a source of inspiration for future learning in science and technology.
