depa Announces Winners of the Prime Minister's Digital Awards 2024 Honoring Outstanding Achievements in Digital Technology and Innovation in Thailand

Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuttapon Nimmanphatcharin, President/CEO of Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa), stated that the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society (MDES), through depa, is committed to fostering creativity in digital technology and innovation. The goal is to promote the development of practical solutions that address various national challenges. To this end, depa has continuously opened applications for creators of digital technology and innovation to be considered for the prestigious Prime Minister's Digital Awards, presented by the Prime Minister, since 2017.

For the year 2024, many individuals and organizations were nominated or applied for this prestigious award presented by the Prime Minister. depa, together with a panel of experts from various fields, carefully evaluated the candidates and selected those with outstanding achievements in digital technology and innovation, individuals and organizations whose contributions have significantly advanced the country's digital economy and society. The awards will be presented by Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra.

"The Prime Minister's Digital Awards serve to honor individuals and organizations with outstanding achievements in the field of digital technology and innovation in Thailand. They also play a key role in encouraging creative development. Award recipients serve as role models and sources of inspiration for others to develop digital products and services, helping to enhance national competitiveness and support a sustainable transition into the digital economy and society," said the President and CEO of depa.

The Prime Minister's Digital Awards 2024 were presented in the following six categories:

1. Digital Youth of the Year

Winner: Assumption College Thonburi

1. Phuwara Watchararat
2. Chitsanuphong Srichanprom
3. Anuch Chatrirat

Project: ThirdEye - A camera for the visually impaired

2. Digital Community of the Year

Winner: Agricultural Cooperative in the Land Reform Area of Pak Chong

Project: Smart Farm IoT - Smart Agriculture Project

3. Digital Organization of the Year

Winner: Thailand Post Co., Ltd.

4. Digital Startup of the Year

Winner: SkillLane Education Co., Ltd.

5. Digital Entrepreneur of the Year

Winner: Ms. Suphajee Suthumpun

Group CEO, Dusit Thani Public Company Limited

6. PM's Special Award - Digital International Corporation of the Year

Winner: Amazon Web Services (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
