La Marina - a Southern Italian Seafood Experience in the Heart of the City Officially Opens with Fanfare at Park Hyatt Bangkok

Mr. Mark de Leeuwerk (3rd from right), General Manager of Park Hyatt Bangkok, hosted the official opening of La Marina, a vibrant new culinary concept that brings a taste of La Dolce Vita, authentic flavors and the coastal charm of Southern Italy to the heart of Bangkok. The grand opening of La Marina was marked by an evening of elegance and celebration attended by many distinguished guests from both the Italian diplomatic community and Thailand's culinary and entertainment circles. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony presided over by H.E. Mr. Paulo Dionisi, Ambassador of Italy to Thailand, La Marina's own Chef Daniele Ferrari took guests on an unforgettable culinary journey through Southern Italy, showcasing the finest flavors from regions like Calabria, Campania, Sicily, and Sardinia. Highlights included grilled octopus from Apulia, make-your-own pasta stations, homemade potato ravioli, Canadian lobster, and red prawns from Sardinia amongst others. The crowning dish was a beautifully baked sea bream from Campania. To cap off the evening, guests indulged in sweet delights inspired by Italy's south coast. It was a celebration of the rich and diverse flavors of Southern Italy, skillfully prepared and presented by Chef Ferrari.
