Bangkok, Thailand - From March 17-19, Sasin School of Management hosted the 2025 EFMD Social Impact Workshop in Bangkok, bringing together deans and associate deans from 16 universities across 12 countries. The workshop fostered insightful discussions on how business schools can integrate social impact into their core mission and strategy, driving economic growth, social cohesion, and sustainable development. Professor Wilert Puriwat, D.Phil., President of Chulalongkorn University, delivered the opening speech at the inaugural session.
Sasin is the first business school in Thailand to receive accreditation from US-based Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and EQUIS accreditation from Europe-based EFMD, an international, non-profit, membership organization of business schools and corporations.
Chevron (Thailand) Limited, distributor and marketer of lubricant products under Caltex, Havoline and Delo brands, has announced the appointment of Mr. Santisak Thaipat as Country Chairman and General Manager with effect from December 2023. Santisak graduated with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Kasetsart University. He also obtained an Executive MBA from Sasin School of Management, Chulalongkorn University.
