In line with its vision to elevate Thailand's tourism industry into a valued and sustainable experience, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is proud to announce the launch of its strategic campaign, "Local Taste Local Thai." This project is meticulously designed to attract high-quality travelers, particularly the expat community residing in Thailand, by leveraging authentic local food as a powerful magnet to inspire a journey of genuine Thai experiences.

The campaign operates under the core concept of "Grand Moment, Moment of Giving," reflecting TAT's firm commitment not only to promote travel but also to "give back" to society. TAT strives to create memorable moments for travelers while simultaneously supporting and elevating local communities and preserving traditional culinary heritage.
To deliver a comprehensive experience, the project has forged collaborations with leading partners. Bangkok Airways joins the campaign to provide special rewards for top spenders within the Taste Pass system, a program designed to engage and thank high-value customers. As key media partners for the campaign's public relations, TimeOut and The Nation Thailand will promote the project to a broad audience. Additionally, Uthai Heritage offers participants exclusive discounts, while Lifestyle + Travel is inviting the expat community to participate in a photo contest to win a prize voucher. Including Vistro Sukhumvit 24, which has been voted one of the best vegetarian restaurants.
To promote eco-friendly travel grand moment of giving, the campaign is also collaborating with MuvMi, an EV tuk-tuk service. MuvMi is offering a special promotion where participants who purchase 10 e-coupons will receive an additional one for free, encouraging a greener way to explore.
The "Local Taste Local Thai" campaign is woven around four distinct travel lifestyles: Eco & Adventure, Wellness, Foodie, and Sporty. These themes are linked to local menus from four pilot provinces: Uthai Thani, Phuket, Trang, and Songkhla.
