"All About Mangoes": The Anam Cam Ranh Unveils Tropical Afternoon Tea Experience

With an open kitchen, grand piano, and courtyard with a canopy of established gardens, The Colonial Restaurant, which specialises in modern European and French dishes with Vietnamese nuances, serves "Afternoon Tea Mango Symphony" from 3-5pm daily.

Poached tiger prawns with mango salsa, tobiko and brioche roll, Iberico Bellota slice with charred mango and whole grain mustard dressing served with sourdough toast, and salmon croquettes with creme fraiche and mango chutney are among the afternoon tea's savouries.

In addition to the mango scones, Afternoon Tea Mango Symphony's sweets include macaron with mango cream cheese filling, mango sago pudding with coconut panna cotta and passion fruit jelly, pavlova with diced mango and basil mango compote, mango, lemon and almond tart, and mango jelly with Pandan leaves.

The savouries and sweets are accompanied by a Dammann tea selection of Earl Grey, English breakfast, jasmine, peppermint and camomile. Local green tea is also available.

The Anam Group's group general manager Laurent Myter said Khanh Hoa province's bountiful mango plantations had inspired the new afternoon tea experience.
