National Credit Bureau Appoints Dr. Luxmon Attapich as CEO Driving Digital Strategy to Foster Access to Finance and Sustainable Economic Growth

Dr. Luxmon emphasized that the NCB places the highest priority on the quality and efficiency of its credit information systems. She reaffirmed a strong commitment to, through digital strategy, innovation, and technology, improve financial well-being for Thai households and unlock business opportunities for Thai SMEs. Her vision is to reinforce trust in the credit information system, while ensuring the organization remains agile and responsive to the rapidly evolving business and technological landscape. Under her leadership, NCB will focus on operational excellence and long-term sustainability.

NCB's core mission remains steadfast: to uphold the highest standards of data quality and security in alignment with international benchmarks. NCB continues to improve service efficiency, support risk management for financial institutions, expand its network of business partners, and rigorously protect the rights of data owners. NCB also places strong emphasis on public education to promote financial health, while prioritizing the continuous development of its personnel's expertise and skills.

Mr. Surapol Opasatien, President of NCB, remarked:

With over 20 years of work experience specialized expertise in economic policy, investment promotion, and international relations, Dr. Luxmon has held several senior leadership roles, including:

• Deputy Secretary-General of the Eastern Economic Corridor Office of Thailand (EEC)
• Senior Economist at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Thailand Resident Mission
• Positions at the Ministry of Finance, focusing on taxation, capital markets, financial inclusion, and international economic affairs
• Advisor to the President of the Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI)

Dr. Luxmon holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Southeast Asian Studies (Economic Development) from the University of Hull, United Kingdom; Diploma in Economics from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom; and a Bachelor of Political Science from Chulalongkorn University
