The Office of Knowledge Management and Development (OKMD), led by Director Dr. Tawarat Sutabutr, announced its 2026 strategic plan to strengthen Thailand's Soft Power in music, books, fashion, and wellness. The initiative builds on 2025 achievements and will leverage knowledge management tools and national networks to create global impact.

In 2025, OKMD launched Talent Everywhere to nurture 1,500 young talents, the Artist's Journey online course, the One Book One City campaign producing 3,000 local picture books, and the TK Book Fair. Training and new media channels such as The KOMMON and OKMDV were also introduced.
For 2026, OKMD will expand its programs:
- Music - Four international curricula for 8,000 participants and 10 busking areas nationwide.
- Books - Training for 1,000 creative entrepreneurs in eBooks, audiobooks, and AR/VR formats.
- Fashion - Skill-building for 4,500 people in eight regions with inspiration platforms and online courses.
- Wellness - Training and media to highlight Thailand's natural and cultural strengths.
OKMD is also developing Playground learning spaces based on Brain-Based Learning, advancing the National Knowledge Center (NKC) on Ratchadamnoen (completion expected 2028), and enhancing digital learning through the TK Digital Platform and NextGen Skills program.
"Thailand's Soft Power, driven by knowledge management through TK Park and Museum Siam, will be a sustainable force for economic, social, and cultural growth on the global stage," said Dr. Tawarat.
