'KANORI' Wins Best Selling Restaurant of the Year at #GrabThumbsUp Awards 2026, Cementing Its Status as Thailand's #1 Hand Roll Brand with 400 Million Baht in Revenue and Plans to Expand by 1-2 New Locations.

Despite having been open for just over two years, 'KANORI Hand Roll Bar', founded by siblings Panitan, Paniti, and Pavitra Kobkulsuwan, has seen significant growth. From a revenue of 200 million THB in 2024, KANORI Hand Roll Bar's performance surged to approximately 400 million THB in 2025. This represents over 100% growth, driven by the expansion of its network to five locations.

Driven by its continuous surge in popularity, 'KANORI Hand Roll Bar' has clinched the #GrabThumbsUp Award 2026 for Best Selling Restaurant of the Year (GrabFood Dine-out). This recognition is based on top-tier sales performance and the highest volume of customer reviews on the GrabFood app.

Mr. Paniti Kobkulsuwan, CEO, Thaisakol Estate Co., Ltd., stated that the key success factor for 'KANORI Hand Roll Bar' is its first-mover advantage. As the pioneer of the hand roll concept in Thailand, KANORI remains the top choice despite rising competition. Ultimately, a more crowded market has only served to increase category awareness, introducing the hand roll experience to a broader audience who continue to keep KANORI top-of-mind.

Miss Pavitra Kobkulsuwan, Managing Director, Thaisakol Estate Co., Ltd., revealed that 'KANORI Hand Roll Bar' leads the Japanese restaurant market in Thailand for its consumption of 'Uni' or 'sea urchin' and seaweed. In 2025 alone, the restaurant used over 3,800 boxes of Uni. Recognizing that seaweed is the "heart" of a hand roll, KANORI maintains an exclusive partnership with a crispy seaweed manufacturer in Japan, ensuring a signature crispness that is truly unique. This commitment to quality resulted in a total of '2 million rolls' served last year.

As for the goals for 'KANORI Hand Roll Bar' in 2026, the company plans to expand by another 1-2 branches, specifically targeting residential areas. The company is focusing on strengthening its internal organization, stating, 'We want to grow fast, but we must grow strong.' Currently, KANORI Hand roll bar is in the process of constructing a new central kitchen, which is expected to be completed within the second quarter of this year. This initiative aims to bolster its supply chain and human resources, ensuring that quality standards remain consistently high to support sustainable future growth.

"Our goal this year is to expand into the outskirts and focus on internal strength before further expansion. Strengthening the internal organization involves our supply chain, personnel, and back-office systems.
