Minor Hotels, a global hospitality group with hotels, resorts and branded residences across 59 countries, has appointed has appointed Milan Jajcanin as Hotel Manager of Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles, strengthening the resort's operational leadership as it continues to build momentum in the Indian Ocean.
Milan brings a strong track record across hotel operations and food and beverage leadership, with a career shaped by service delivery, team development and guest experience management. Recognised for a hands-on, detail-driven approach, he has supported performance improvements across multi-department environments, with a focus on consistency, standards and people-first leadership.
In his role, Milan will oversee day-to-day operations across the 192-key resort, working closely with the leadership team to drive operational discipline, enhance guest satisfaction and support an engaged, high-performing culture across all departments.

Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles is located on Mahe's west coast, around 30 minutes from Seychelles International Airport, and reopened in June 2025. Following a full-scale refurbishment, the resort offers upgraded accommodation including Lagoon Access Rooms, an expanded pool area, multiple dining venues and bars, an AvaniSpa and a curated programme of cultural experiences.
Avani's growth pipeline includes a series of strategically timed openings across Asia and Australia, further strengthening the brand's footprint in high-demand lifestyle destinations. Highlights include Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane in Laos and Avani Kota Kinabalu Hotel in Malaysia, both opening in Q2 2026, alongside Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel in Australia, also launching in Q2 2026. Avani Queenstown in New Zealand will follow in Q3 2026, with Avani Wollongong in Australia scheduled to open in 2027.
