Youth Video Challenge: Chart Thailand's Economic Future Official Program for 2026 IMF-World Bank Group Annual Meetings

In an era of rapid global economic transformation, understanding and influencing economic management, finance, and public policy is no longer solely the domain of agencies, professionals, or academic experts. These crucial topics are increasingly capturing the attention and interest of the younger generation.

To truly open this global stage, the Host Committee for the Annual Meetings is offering a unique platform for university and college students, aged 18-25, to showcase their brilliance. Unleash your creativity and contribute world-changing ideas by proposing economic policies through compelling vertical video clips, each under 2 minutes. Compete for a total prize pool exceeding 120,000 Baht.

Choose ONE of these topics:

  • Imagine you are a leader of an international financial institution advising countries on policy choices to navigate new economic horizons. What would you identify as top policy priority, and why?
  • It has been 35 years since Thailand last hosted the IMF-World Bank Annual Meetings. Looking ahead to the next 35 years and toward new economic horizons that empower people and build resilience, what do you see as Thailand's key economic priorities and challenges? What actions will be required to achieve these goals and overcome the obstacles ahead?
