Student Association of the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts Silpakorn University, is organizing a painting project to express condolences to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

Mr. Tharatip Nutteesri, President of the Student Association of the Faculty of Painting,Sculpture and Graphic Arts, and Mr. Amrit Chusuwan, National Artist and Advisor to the Association, revealed that the project is organized to express profound condolences and demonstrate unwavering loyalty and gratitude for the boundless royal grace of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. This will be achieved by creating her royal portraits under the concept: Our Beloved Queen Mother, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit." Student Association of the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts Silpakorn University, is organizing a painting project to express condolences to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

The portraits will be painted on canvas frames, consisting of 13 pieces measuring 2.40 m x 2.40 m and 80 pieces measuring 1.50 m x 1.50 m, totaling 93 paintings.

The painting creation and exhibition activities will take place in the area surrounding the Monument of Professor Silpa Bhirasri at Silpakorn University, Wang Tha Phra Campus, Na Phra Lan Road, Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok. This location is chosen to allow the Thai public to view and appreciate the exquisite artistry and collectively reaffirm their devotion through these works, which stem from the unified dedication of the Silpakorn artistic community.

Mural Painting Schedule

The mural painting will take place over three periods:

First Period: Between November 22 - 23, 2025 - 30 pieces

Second Period: Between November 29 - 30, 2025 - 30 pieces

Third Period: Between December 5 - 7, 2025 - 33 pieces

The painting will be held daily from 08:30 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. Other activities, such as an art market and Graffiti art, will be organized at the venue as mentioned above.
