The summit underscored the strong cooperation between Shopee and government agencies in advancing Thailand's digital economy. At the event, Department of Business Development (DBD) director-general Poonphong Nainapakorn recounted a more than seven-year partnership with Shopee that has produced tangible results, serving as a model for other initiatives. He described Shopee as a key "platform of opportunity" that is enabling Thai entrepreneurs to generate revenue, scale their operations and connect with regional consumers in an environment of continuing digital growth. Meanwhile, the DBD has been focused on driving Thailand's commercial economy forward in this digital era, including a dedicated Thai-product landing page that has generated over THB 700 million in value to date. The DBD reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to collaborate with Shopee in equipping entrepreneurs with knowledge, technology, marketing tools and benefits to enhance competitiveness on the e-commerce stage and position Thai products for sustainable international recognition.

Electronics: Offering seamless online-to-offline shopping through new services such as product installation and mobile phone trade-in programs, delivering a full-cycle shopping experience before, during, and after purchase.
Fashion: Keeping pace with fast-changing trends by continuously introducing new collections, exclusive brand collaborations, and content through KOL partnerships, supported by express delivery to ensure timely access to the latest fashion.
Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG): Strengthening customer engagement and repeat purchases through new marketing tools and consistent new product launches that cater to evolving and faster decision-making consumer behaviors.
Lifestyle: Expanding into the high-income consumer segment through Shopee Partner Logistics (SPL), which offers fast and value-driven delivery services. Shopee also supports flexible spending options through its Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) program, enhancing convenience for buyers while ensuring sellers receive full payment upfront.

Accelerating the "Speed Strategy" for Faster, More Flexible Shopping Experiences

To meet the needs of modern consumers and their growing demand for convenience, Shopee continues to advance its Speed Strategy through the expansion of express delivery options, including Same-day Delivery and 4-hour Delivery. "In the final quarter of this year, we launched Shopee Mega Brand Day, our highest-tier campaign designed to drive exceptional impact and results beyond the scale of Super Brand Day. By partnering with leading brands, Shopee aims to deliver superior experiences and outcomes for both partners and shoppers."

The recent collaboration with Huawei during October achieved record-breaking results, with sales and buyer volume increasing fivefold. This success serves as a model for future brand partnerships, generating value for both sellers and consumers through greater visibility, engagement, and convenience.

Empowering the Creator Ecosystem: Driving Growth through Content and Partnerships

The summit also highlighted Shopee's competitive advantage in leveraging its growing network of content creators (KOLs) as a core growth driver. The Shopee Affiliate KOL program enables creators to promote products, build brand awareness, and influence purchase decisions, while helping brands and sellers boost visibility and sales.

Content-driven sales through this network have grown by over 70% year-on-year, empowering both emerging and established creators to generate income online. This year, Shopee Live helped increase sellers' orders by more than 65%, while Shopee Video generated over 400% growth in sales compared to last year, reflecting the power of content in effectively driving sales on the platform.

Shopee also announced new strategic global partnerships with YouTube Shopping and Shopee Meta Affiliate, aiming to further enhance the affiliate ecosystem and create shared value for sellers, buyers, and creators alike.

The event concluded with an award ceremony celebrating over 200 outstanding sellers and creators, recognizing their achievements and contributions throughout the year.
