Bangkok Rises to Become the World's Coffee Stage, Ready to Welcome World of Coffee Bangkok 2026. A global event spotlighting the potential of Thai coffee. See you this May 7-9 at BITEC Bangna.

World of Coffee Bangkok 2026 will be held for the first and possibly only time in Thailand before cycling back to Asia again in Tokyo, Japan, in 2027, and continuing to be held in other major cities around the world.

The selection of Thailand as the venue for this event underscores the potential of Thai coffee to be the center of the ASEAN coffee industry. Key strengths include the quality of its produce and being one of the few countries in the world that is simultaneously a producer, product developer, and has a cafe and coffee-drinking culture within the same country. This has led to the Thai coffee industry gaining increased international recognition over the past 10 years.

The World of Coffee Bangkok 2026 will bring together over 400 leading companies from more than 40 countries to showcase coffee equipment, green coffee beans, and roasting innovations. Interesting zones include:

Roaster Village: A gathering of famous coffee roasters from around the world who will demonstrate roasting and brewing trends, such as GLITCH TOKYO from Tokyo, Japan, MOMOS COFFEE from Busan, South Korea, and MAME Roastery from Zurich, Switzerland, among others.

Producer Village: A space for direct connection between "farmers" and "buyers."

Cupping Rooms: Coffee tasting rooms to test the flavors of new coffee varieties.

SCA Lecture Series: A space for real gurus to share knowledge, experiences, and inspiration that will help you clearly understand and achieve your set goals.

SCA Community Lounge: A space for knowledge exchange and networking within the coffee industry.

Brew Bar: A spot to refuel with special coffee from the World Coffee Championships, featuring carefully selected excellent beans and diverse brewing techniques from real world champions.

And the World Cup Tasters Championship 2026 competition, which will search for the world champion with the most accurate ability to distinguish coffee flavors. In this competition, Chatchalerm Lertanekwattana was the first Thai person to win the world championship in 2025. This year, Thailand has Punnapop Suwanjit, the champion from the Thailand National Cup Taster Championship, entering the competition.
