La Fontana Bangkok will soft launch this May, introducing a chef-led Mediterranean dining concept designed for Bangkok's evolving, experience-driven audience. Developed as an independent venue, La Fontana enters the market with a clear ambition: to move beyond conventional Italian dining and establish itself as a destination shaped by wine culture, atmosphere, and contemporary hospitality.

The soft launch will take place through a series of private, dinner-only preview services, welcoming selected guests, industry partners, and media. This initial phase will allow the team to refine both operations and menu direction ahead of the official grand opening later in June.

Created specifically for Bangkok, La Fontana has been conceived as a standalone concept with its own identity, distinct from legacy European formats and hotel-led dining venues. In a competitive and increasingly sophisticated market, the restaurant focuses on delivering a more considered, experience-led approach, where atmosphere, pace, and guest journey are as important as the food itself.

The culinary direction draws from Mediterranean and Italian influences, guided by ingredient quality, seasonality, and a streamlined menu shaped by demand. This chef-led approach is complemented by a wine programme designed to play a central role in the dining experience, encouraging a more social and unhurried way of dining.

La Fontana's offering evolves throughout the day, from light, refined lunches to more intimate evening occasions. This progression reflects the changing rhythm of the space, catering to everything from casual daytime gatherings to more immersive, occasion-led dining at night

Stefano Oliva and Jennifer Naidu, Owners of La Fontana said: "La Fontana was developed specifically for Bangkok. We wanted to create a place where people feel comfortable spending time, whether that's over lunch, a relaxed evening, or a longer dinner with friends. It's not just about the food, but how everything comes together; the atmosphere, the wine, and the pace of the experience. We've designed it to feel easy, social, and suited to the way people want to dine today."

During its initial phase, the restaurant will operate daily from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with plans to extend into late-night service following the completion of nearby developments. Reservations will open ahead of the official grand opening.
