Star Petroleum Refining Public Company Limited ("SPRC") reported its first 6-month operating results in 2026, with net income of US$441.7 million and adjusted net income, excluding inventory gain, of US$272.1 million. In the 1st half of 2026, SPRC continues to strengthen profitability by maximizing domestic product sales, improving feedstock and product optimization under the Bottom-Line Improvement Program (BLIP), which delivered US$13.2 million in value while enhancing cost competitiveness and operational performance.
In the 2nd quarter of this year, SPRC reported total revenue of US$2,592.0 million and net income of US$213.1 million. Adjusted net income excluding inventory loss was US$221.0 million. Compared with the previous quarter, net income decreased mainly due to a significant inventory gain recognized in Q1/2026, while there was an inventory loss in the current quarter. Despite this impact, underlying performance improved, supported by stronger enterprise margins, higher crude utilization following the completion of major Turnaround and Inspection (T&I) activities, and lower operating expenses.
SPRC Board of Directors has also today approved the interim dividend to the shareholders of Baht 0.50 per share. The record date is 31 August 2026, and the dividend is scheduled to be paid to shareholders on 14 September 2026. The dividend underscores SPRC's commitment to reliable shareholder returns, financial discipline, and a strong balance sheet.
