มูลนิธิป่อเต็กตึ๊ง และโรงพยาบาลหัวเฉียว ร่วมกับ มหาวิทยาลัยหัวเฉียวเฉลิมพระเกียรติ จัดโครงการ"ปลูกต้นกล้าพยาบาล 3 สถาบัน" ประจำปีการศึกษา 2567 รอบ 3 เพื่อสร้างโอกาสทางการศึกษาให้แก่นักเรียนที่เรียนดี แต่ขาดแคลนทุนทรัพย์ ที่มีความต้องการเป็นพยาบาล ตลอดหลักสูตรระดับปริญญาตรี 4 ปีจำนวน 27 ทุน ทุนละ 635,450 บาท รวมมูลค่ากว่า 17 ล้านบาท และมีหอพักนักศึกษาให้พักโดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายซึ่งได้รับการสนับสนุนเพิ่มเติมจากโรงพยาบาลหัวเฉียว
