Bangkok--9 May--Hill & Knowlton Win in Thailand's ‘Trusted Brand Awards’ strengthen its leadership in the express industry DHL, the world’s leading express and logistics company, has won the prestigious Gold Award in the ‘Express Service’ category for the fourth consecutive year. DHL picked up the award at the ninth annual ‘Trusted Brand Awards 2007’, organized by Reader’s Digest, at Henri Dunant Hall, The Royal Bangkok Sport Club. Formerly known as SuperBrands, the awards have been conducted annually by Reader’s Digest for almost a decade, awarding Asia’s top performing brands as voted by consumers. The survey is a region-wide initiative covering 43 categories of products and services, conducted in seven key markets across Asia – Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, the Philippines and Thailand –through 7,000 questionnaires and telephone interviews. Participants vote for their single favourite brand in the 43 categories of products and services based on six brand attributes – trustworthiness, credible image, quality, value, understanding of customer needs and innovation. In addition to Thailand, DHL received Platinum awards in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan, as well as the Gold Award in the Philippines, Thailand and India. DHL has been recognized with the Platinum Award in Hong Kong for the past four years, and elevated from Gold to Platinum Award last year in Singapore and Taiwan. The Gold Award will be presented to brands which achieve a minimum of fifty percent vote from the respondents.
