signed an agreement to form an air-conditioning manufacturing joint venture,
Foshan Midea Carrier Air Conditioning Equipment Co., Ltd, in Shunde, China.
Midea will hold a 60 per cent stake and Carrier will hold the minority stake in
the joint venture.
