Strongly committed to human resource development, Fujitsu (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has offered opportunities for students from leading universities in Thailand to take an internship at Fujitsu, which has a world-class work process, enabling them to enhance their skills and get real work experience in information technology and communication (ICT) sector. Moreover, this will help improve human resource development to better respond to the needs of Thailand's digital industry. According to Fujitsu, the signing of an academic partnership agreement with the Faculty of Applied Science, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) at this time is a pilot project that will later expand to include students from other universities as well.

Ms. Kanokkamon Laohaburanakit, Managing Director of Fujitsu (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said, "We focus on helping develop resources for Thailand's labor market by accelerating the learning process outside the classroom. We allow student interns to learn about the latest technologies from around the world, enabling them to get prepared before entering the real work market. This also helps promote Sustainability Transformation (SX) for Thai students, and provides benefits to both employers and employees in the future. This project will be conducted continuously, starting with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on academic partnership between Fujitsu (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and the Faculty of Applied Science, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, to support education management with higher education institutions in Thailand by accepting senior students to join internships. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surapan Yimman, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, said that the Faculty of Applied Science is committed to the development of science and technology. It is primarily responsible for producing graduates, conducting researches and promoting technology development. Furthermore, it acts as an agency that provides academic services in science, technology, and related advanced academics to entrepreneurs, professional groups, and the general public. Its main policy is to be a leading faculty in science, technology and innovation that is recognized internationally.

It is committed to allowing students to get hands-on experience in accordance with educational management guidelines under the conceptual framework of "Academic Excellence with Hands-on Experience" focusing on the outcomes of the learners. The faculty aims to produce graduates and resources that have high quality, creativity and are ready to work efficiently by combining theory with real practices from both the educational institution and the workplace (Cooperative Education). Students will be able to understand the perspective of entrepreneurs on innovation and technology and apply the experience they gained from the internship to further develop skills and continue their learning (Lifelong Learning), while maintaining professional morality and ethics. And they will be able to cater the needs of industry, business and society in today's climate as well.
