Shang Palace at Shangri-La Bangkok and Path Singapore, considered amongst the best restaurants in their respective locales for innovative cuisine anchored on East Asian influences, are set to jolt Bangkok's dining scene with a one-off 'Four-Hands' collaboration from 13 - 15 July 2023.
The gastronomic showcase takes place at Shang Palace, Shangri-La Bangkok's iconic Cantonese restaurant, with Executive Chinese Chef Tan Kwang Aik hosting Marvas Ng, Executive Chef of Path Singapore. Though owning unique individual cooking techniques, both share the same passion for crafting dishes that transcend the usual 'modern Asian' fare. Thus, guests can expect no less than an extraordinary dining experience.
Chef Tan Kwang Aik's creations are the tried and tested results of his creativity with an absolute aim to capture the refined flavours of Cantonese cuisine.
Executive Chef Marvas Ng previously clinched 2 gold medals for Singapore in the 2022 Culinary World Cup and spent a decade in the kitchens of critically acclaimed Le Pan Hong Kong and Tianjin (China). Located in Singapore's bustling Marina Bay Financial Centre, Path is a contemporary restaurant that presents the heart-warming familiarity of East Asian flavours, elevated with French finesse, and layered with strong personal style and inspirations.
From 13-15 July 2023, evening diners can indulge in an eight-course menu at THB 3,999++ per person (THB 4,999++ with beverage pairing) or six-course menu at THB 2,999++ per person (THB 3,800++ with beverage pairing).
As a rare treat, guests who reserve dinner for 13 July will be invited to attend a masterclass session jointly conducted by both chefs earlier that afternoon (subject to availability).
