This historic milestone makes Honda the first major Japanese car brand to produce electric passenger cars in Thailand, built to the rigorous production standards supported by Honda's cutting-edge technology globally. Starting production of the Honda e:N1 in Thailand is a crucial step for Honda, demonstrating the company's unwavering confidence in and continued commitment to conducting business in the country. This milestone also adds substantial value to Thailand's automotive industry, both in terms of local production capabilities and using domestically sourced parts.
