Press Releases »

Nichirei Fresh Inc. together with its partners in Thailand - Okeanos Food Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Thai Union Group PCL), joined hands to participate in the 'Mangrove Forest Biodiversity and Ecosystem Protection Program.' Together the two companies helped plant loop-root mangrove and tall-stilt mangrove trees around the TMK shrimp farm in Trang Province, one of the suppliers to Okeanos Food. The activity helped contribute to the environmental balance of the shrimp farm ecosystem, which is a part of the business' supply chain. This initiative reflects the shared vision of the two companies to be seafood industry leaders focused on the environment, communities and sustainable growth.
