Bangkok Dusit Medical Services Public Company Limited (BDMS) proudly announces that 19 of its hospitals have received Trauma Center certification from the Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand (RCST). The certification was awarded during the 49th Annual Scientific Congress of The Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand held at Royal Cliff Hotels in Pattaya, Chonburi Province.

Dr. Suthorn Bavonratanavech, Chief Director of BDMS Trauma and Orthopedics Center, led the BDMS executives and representatives in accepting this prestigious recognition. The certified BDMS hospitals are Bangkok Hospital Headquarters, Bangkok Hospital Sanamchan, Bangkok Hospital Muangraj, Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital, Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital, Bangkok Hospital Pattaya, Bangkok Hospital Rayong, Sri Rayong Hospital, Bangkok Hospital Phitsanulok, Bangkok Hospital Pakchong, Bangkok Hospital Chiang Mai, Bangkok Hospital Ratchasima, Phyathai Sriracha Hospital, Phyathai 2 Hospital, Phyathai Nawamin Hospital, Paolo Hospital Rangsit, Bangkok Hospital Phuket, Bangkok Hospital Siriroj and Bangkok Hospital Hat Yai.

กรมอนามัย กระทรวงสาธารณสุขเผยสถานการณ์อากาศร้อนจัดส่งผลให้ความเสี่ยงต่อกลุ่มเด็กเล็กและหญิงตั้งครรภ์ ในการเกิด "ฮีทสโตรก (Heatstroke)" ซึ่งเป็นกลุ่มเสี่ยงสูง อาจเกิดอาการรุนแรงและเป็นอันตรายถึงชีวิตได้ หากไม่ได้รับการดูแลอย่างทันท่วงที แพทย์หญิงอัมพร เบญจพลพิทักษ์ อธิบดีกรมอนามัย กล่าวว่า ประเทศไทยกำลังเผชิญสภาพอากาศร้อนจัดอย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งกรมอุตุนิยมวิทยาได้คาดการณ์ว่าในเดือนเมษายน ดัชนีความร้อนในหลายพื้นที่ของประเทศไทย มีแนวโน้มสูงถึง 52- 60 องศาเซลเซียส ซึ่งอยู่ในระดับ "อันตรายมาก"
