KTC Partners with AWC to Support Sustainable Tourism

KTC is committed to supporting tourism partners who prioritize sustainability and has collaborated with key partners to promote eco-friendly stays through the Green Hotel initiative. This year, KTC expanded its efforts to include hotels aligned with the Sustainable Tourism Goals (STGs), CF-Hotels, and the STAR (Sustainable Tourism Acceleration Rating) framework by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). Currently, KTC credit card spending at participating hotels has surpassed 200 million baht from over 25,000 members, with Green Hotels contributing 25% of spending and 11.4% of participating hotels. Recently, KTC partnered with 16 leading hotels under Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC), all STAR-certified, aiming to inspire greater awareness of sustainable tourism.

Miss Prym Panyasereeporn, Head of Credit Card Marketing Division at Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (KTC), announced a collaboration with AWC, covering 16 hotels in major tourist destinations across Thailand. These include InterContinental Chiang Mai Mae Ping / Banyan Tree Krabi / The Okura Prestige Bangkok / The Athenee Hotel / Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park / Chiang Mai Marriott Hote / Melia Koh Samui / Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa, and Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town. The partnership supports a variety of services such as accommodations, dining, spas, and wedding services, catering to various member lifestyles. KTC cardmembers enjoy exclusive privileges, including discounts on rooms, dining, and spas.
