Dr.Twarath Sutabutr, President of the Office of Knowledge Management and Development (OKMD), emphasized promoting Knowledge management and lifelong learning culture would enhance the country's competitive potential and sustainable development. This is achieved by empowering and engaging people to drive society and the nation in their desired direction, focusing on people and knowledge management to develop initiatives and solve problems. This leads to sustainable growth in the economy, society, and environment through collaborative mechanisms among all sectors and by building resilient citizens who can adapt and leverage global changes for the benefit of themselves, their communities, and the nation.

"The Thailand KM Network Forum 2025 serves as a platform to advance knowledge management by bringing together a wide network of organizational KM practitioners from public and private sectors, both domestic and international. It opens a space for exchanging expertise and raising awareness and interest in the application of knowledge management within organizations," Dr. Twarat explained.

Dr.Twarath further noted that the event is a collaboration among four key organizations - OKMD, IKI-SEA, TRIS Corporation, and KNIT designed as a progressive stage for knowledge management development. The forum will bring together knowledge management professionals from both domestic and international public and private organizations to exchange insights and raise awareness of the importance of KM in driving organizational success. A key highlight will be the panel discussion "Knowledge Management in Action: Navigating Uncertainty and Crisis", featuring Dr.Twarath Sutabutr, President of OKMD; Dr. Amporn Saengmanee, Managing Director of TRIS Corporation; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boworn Papasratorn, Director of KNIT; and Dr. Julathep Senivongse Na Ayudhya, Lecturer and Researcher at IKI-SEA, Bangkok University.

Assoc.Prof.Dr.Vincent Ribiere, Managing Director of IKI-SEA Bangkok University, emphasized Organizations today are evolving in increasingly unpredictable and fast-changing environments. To adapt and thrive, they must cultivate the ability to learn, unlearn, and re-learn. Building and systematically managing knowledge is not just an asset—it is a critical capability every organization must master. The upcoming Knowledge Management Global Network (KMGN) Forum in Bangkok will bring together global experts to explore how knowledge management can guide organizations in navigating uncertainty and crisis.

Assoc.Prof.Dr.Vincent revealed that one of the highlights of the Knowledge Management Global Network (KMGN) Forum 2025 in Bangkok will be the simulation of a "Knowledge Management Game." The game presents a three-year KM policy challenge, where Knowledge Managers must collect and safeguard knowledge from 40 employees (represented as pieces on the board) while overcoming multiple obstacles—ranging from knowledge loss and internal resistance to talent poaching by competitors.

Adding to the challenge are more than 70 Action Cards, each capable of shifting the dynamics of the game at any moment. Some cards provide support to KM initiatives, while others introduce intense pressure through scenarios such as "Brain Drain."

"Systematic knowledge management is not only a vital resource but also an essential capability every organization must master with urgency. This forum will provide a global stage for KM experts to share experiences, helping organizations navigate crises with resilience," Assoc.Prof.Dr.Vincent said.

Dr. Amporn Saengmanee, Managing Director of TRIS Corporation, reflected on Technology has fundamentally transformed the foundational boundaries of knowledge management, shifting organizational knowledge frameworks from rigid, static structures into highly dynamic, contextual paradigms. This quantum leap in knowledge management emerges from the intellectual synergy between humans and AI. Modern enterprises must excel in reciprocal cognitive exchange—where human experience guides AI's deep contextual understanding, while AI expands and rotates human perspectives to create profound new knowledge insights that neither could achieve independently. The TKMN Forum 2025 in Bangkok will provide organizations with opportunities to learn together in navigating this evolving knowledge landscape, integrating authentic experience with advanced technologies into practical, actionable capabilities.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boworn Papasratorn, Director of KNIT, added in a new world order shaped by uncertainty, resilience is no longer a choice but a necessity. Knowledge management stands as the living memory of the organization, guiding it through disruption and change. When knowledge is captured, shared, and renewed, crises become pathways to adaptation and growth. The rise of artificial intelligence may unsettle the familiar, yet it also expands the horizon of what is possible. By weaving human wisdom with machine intelligence, knowledge management transforms disruption into opportunity. It is this discipline that allows organizations not only to withstand turbulence, but to thrive and shape the future.

Dr. Apichart Prasert, Vice President of OKMD, highlighted that the workshop will allow participants to explore how AI can enhance communication of knowledge, making it clearer, more engaging, and accessible. Practical tools such as ChatGPT and mobile applications will be introduced to help participants create and present information effectively for diverse audiences.
