The overall outlook for 2025, still shows significant growth potential in the industry. Industry data indicates that cane crushing volume has recovered to 92 million tons, boosting sugar production by more than 14% compared with the 2023-2024 season. Meanwhile, exports this year are expected to expand by over 30% in both volume and value. These factors reflect the vital role of agriculture and industry in driving Thailand's economy, even amid global volatility. Chevron's participation in Sugarex Thailand 2025 drew strong interest from visitors including sugar mill operators, sugarcane farmers, engineers, and heavy machinery users. This year's Caltex lubricants booth, themed "Caltex Business: Getting Closer to Your Business", showcased specialized products essential to Thailand's sugar industry. Highlights included Caltex Delo lubricants for sugarcane harvesters and trucks, along with specialty industrial lubricants such as Rando(R) hydraulic oil, Meropa(R) gear oil, GST(R) Advantage turbine oil, and specialized greases like Talcor(TM) Mill Brass Compound - designed specifically for sugar mill roller bearings. This grease features unique non-corrosive properties for copper alloys, high load capacity, strong adhesion, and resistance to contamination and washout by cane juice.

In a context where the industry needs to enhance competitiveness and manage costs effectively, Chevron, as a technology partner in lubricants showcased products and services covering the entire sugar production process-from vehicles such as sugarcane trucks and agricultural machinery to sugar mills handling cane transport, milling, and production, as well as related activities.
