Bangchak Honored as Model Organization for Volunteerism and Social Contribution by North Bangkok University

The award recognizes Bangchak as one of the exemplary organizations contributing to the nation across four key dimensions, namely innovation and technology, volunteerism for society and the environment, local wisdom and community development, and education and health promotion. The award ceremony, organized by North Bangkok University to mark its 25th anniversary and celebrate its mission as a "University of Opportunity and Quality" committed to elevating Thai education to international standards.

Bangchak received this recognition for its Fry to Fly initiative, a circular-economy project led by BSGF Company Limited, a Bangchak Group affiliate, that uses advanced technology to convert used cooking oil into clean energy by processing it into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The project delivers benefits across multiple levels—reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the aviation sector, minimizing environmental impact through efficient waste management, promoting public health and safety by discouraging the reuse of cooking oil and improper disposal, and improving quality of life and income opportunities for communities through the sale of used cooking oil to the initiative.

Bangchak was honored alongside Phitsanulok Women's Correctional Institution, "Sai Mai Tong Rod" Facebook page, Zendai Foundation, Thian Fah Foundation Hospital, Change the World (NBT) program, the Secretariat of the Senate, and the Samut Prakan Provincial Office of Labor Protection and Welfare. A total of 80 awards were presented across two categories: "Good Citizen Award" and "Outstanding Alumni Award," recognizing individuals and organizations with exemplary achievements and contributions to society and youth. An additional 50 "Outstanding Alumni Awards" were presented to North Bangkok University alumni who have made significant societal impact.
