The findings reveal that despite their critical role in safeguarding animal and public health, veterinarians in Thailand face mounting pressures, including a shortage of professionals, high operational costs, long working hours, limited client understanding, and insufficient recognition. These factors contribute to elevated stress levels and pose a risk to the profession's long-term sustainability.

• 42% of veterinarians report a declining client base as a major challenge.
• 70% of veterinarians and clinic staff highlight clients lack knowledge about animal health.
• 74% of veterinarians face challenges with clients' lack of understanding regarding pet healthcare costs.
• 58% work 50 hours or more per week - among the highest in the region.
• Only 16% feel their profession is well understood by the public.
• 64% believe that improved client understanding would help reduce work-related stress.
