On February 25, 2026 (U.S. time), Newsweek, a leading international magazine and news website, in collaboration with Statista, a globally recognized German market research and consumer data analytics company, officially announced the World's Best Hospitals 2026 rankings via www.newsweek.com. More than 2,530 hospitals across 32 countries were evaluated.   • Bumrungrad ranked 96th among the 250 World's Best Hospitals, improving from 100th place the previous year, reflecting continuous progress in line with the hospital's strategic goals.
  • Bumrungrad is the only hospital in Thailand included in the Top 100 World's Best Hospitals for the second consecutive year.
  • Bumrungrad has been ranked the No. 1 hospital in Thailand for six consecutive years (2021-2026), achieving a score of 91.80%, compared with 87.80% for the second-ranked hospital, reflecting the consistency and reliability of its quality of care.

The Newsweek and Statista rankings are internationally recognized for their credibility and transparency. An international panel of healthcare experts evaluates hospitals based on four key criteria:

  1. Hospital Quality Metrics: Quality of care for treatments, hygiene measures, patient safety, and waiting times.
  2. Peer Recommendations: An online survey of more than 100,000 physicians, healthcare professionals, and hospitals managers in 32 countries.
  3. Patient Experience: Overall satisfaction, willingness to recommend, and satisfaction with treatment.
  4. PROMs Implementation: The use of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures to assess treatment outcomes, well-being, and quality of life from the patient's perspective.
