Bangchak Group Supports Thailand's Net Zero Transition Hosts Department of Energy Business for SAF Knowledge Exchange and TCNN for Five-Year Planning Workshop

At BSGF Co., Ltd., in Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery, Mr. Bandit welcomed Mr. Wutthitat Tantivess, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Energy Business, along with executives and officials from the department.

The delegation learned about SAF production process, laboratory operations, and product quality control systems, while exchanging knowledge on international standards and regulatory approaches to SAF quality assurance. The visit strengthened understanding of SAF production technology, operational management, and quality inspection, while supporting capacity building among personnel responsible for overseeing Thailand's fuel quality. It also highlighted the potential to expand the production and use of biofuels derived from domestically sourced feedstocks. The group was also welcomed by Ms. Kittima Wongsaen, Executive Vice President, Value Chain Strategy and Optimization and Mr. Suraporn Petchdee, Managing Director BSGF Company Limited.

Later that day, Mr. Bundit welcomed participants in the first workshop to develop TCNN's Roadmap and five-year Action Plan for 2026-2030. Jointly organized by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization), or TGO, and TCNN, the workshop was held at Bangchak Corporation's headquarters at M Tower.

Mrs. Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications, delivered the welcoming remarks. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Anekpracha Kaewmanee, Vice President, Corporate Sustainability Management, in his capacity as Chair of the Subcommittee on Engagement and Mobilization, TCNN. The meeting was joined by Mr.Nakorn Tangavirapat, Executive Director of TGO and M.L. Dispanadda Diskul, Secretary-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage, in his role as TCNN advisor, together with subcommittee members and other relevant stakeholders.

Associate Professor Wongkot Wongsapai, Head of the Energy Technology for Environment (ETE) Research Center, and a research team from Chiang Mai University presented the proposed framework for the Roadmap and Action Plan. Participants exchanged views and recommendations to inform a survey of TCNN members and the further development of both documents.

The two engagements reflect Bangchak Group's commitment to develop low-carbon energy and support collaboration on greenhouse gas emissions reduction as Thailand works toward net zero target by 2050
